In order to measure temperature, a min/max thermometer is commonly used torecord the daily high and low temperatures. There is currently an ongoingGLOBE Program which enables K-12 students to take global sciencemeasurements themselves. This data is entered into a system (using the Web)and the data is used by scientists in their global science research.Currently there are 66 countries participating.
