| Introducing 3-vectors requires some ability to imagine spatial relations. The latter is supported in this applet by the possibility to examine vectors and their components in a 3D graphics from different viewpoints. The notions of position vector and translation vector are illustrated, the significance of vector components as well as the operations of addition and subtraction are visualized. Reading off components may be trained. The applet is started from the red button in its own window. |
