For educational or personal use you can download a mirror version of this site which can be used on your personal computer or school server. The site is available in a ZIP or SIT format which can be decompressed with Expander (shareware for both Windows and Macintosh) or similar programs. You can get Expander at www.aladdinsys.com/expander/index.html.

The downloadable version is approximately 4 Meg in size (remeber the good old days when the site fit on a floppy?) and does not include the 3D Trach Fly Through (part of the ultrasound demo), but that can be downloaded separately.

To use the material:

You need to have a computer that can deal with long file names (such as "umffbounce.html" or "cool_logo.jpeg." Sorry about that fact. Windows 95/98/00/NT can deal with long names, as well as any Mac. (side note - most things are in an 8.3 format so most can be used on Windows 3.1, but I can not be sure of that).

1. Download the compressed version of the site.
2. "unstuff" the .sit file (or unzip the .zip file)
3. You will then have a folder called "ExplrSci"
4. Inside that folder will be a file called start.htm
5. Open that file with your favorite shockwave enabled web browser.
